What does Pro cost?+
vectorstream Pro is a yearly license per developer seat, with no minimum number of seats. Internal Use costs €890 for the first seat and €490 for each further seat. Commercial costs €1,490 for the first seat and €990 for each further seat. All prices are per year, excl. VAT, and a draft, and Pro is not published yet.
What is a seat, and what about CI servers and contractors?+
A seat of vectorstream Pro is one developer, a person who develops or builds with Pro. Whether CI servers and contractors need a seat is a matter for the license terms. The terms are a draft and are not published yet, so this page makes no promise about it. See the license terms once they are published.
Can I add seats later?+
The plan is that you can add seats of vectorstream Pro later, but how this works is not decided. It may be pro rata or at the end of the year. See the license terms once they are published.
What is the difference between Internal Use and Commercial?+
Both licenses of vectorstream Pro have the same features. Internal Use is for your own internal tools, with no access for third parties. Commercial is for building vectorstream into a product or service that third parties use or buy, such as SaaS or client projects. This split is a proposal, and the license agreement, which is not published yet, will state the final terms.
What happens when the year ends?+
A vectorstream Pro key gives you updates until the end of the paid year. The versions released in that time stay usable after the year ends, but newer versions need a renewal. A renewal is a new key.
Can I test Pro before buying?+
vectorstream Pro has no evaluation period, and it runs without a key. Without a key it shows a watermark in the map, and on localhost it shows no watermark. So you can build and test with Pro in development before you buy.
